Student Debt Calculator UK is free to use and always will be. To cover the cost of building and maintaining the calculators, we may earn a commission from some of the companies we link to. This page explains exactly how that works.
What an affiliate link is
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to open an account, request a quote or buy a product, the company may pay us a fee for the introduction.
This never costs you anything extra. The product, price and terms you receive are exactly the same as if you had gone to that company directly. You are never charged for using anything on this site.
How it affects what we publish
It does not affect our calculations. Our tools use published Student Loans Company, Department for Education and HMRC figures, and they return the same result whether or not a commission is available anywhere on the page.
We do not accept payment to change a calculation, alter a ranking, or write a favourable review. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. If we ever think overpaying your student loan is a bad idea, we will say so, regardless of who we link to.
What we are not
We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and nothing on this site is financial advice or a personal recommendation.
Our calculators produce estimates based on the figures you enter and on published rates and thresholds, both of which change over time. Always confirm your own position with the Student Loans Company or GOV.UK, or speak to a suitably qualified adviser, before making a financial decision.

Your data stays yours
