1. The Calculator Data (Client-Side Privacy)

We are proud to operate a “Zero-Knowledge” calculation tool.

  • How it works: When you enter your salary, loan balance, and repayment details, the mathematics are performed locally on your device (using JavaScript).
  • Data Transmission: Your financial inputs are not transmitted to our servers, stored in a database, or seen by our team.
  • Session Data: Once you close the browser tab, your input data is cleared (unless your specific browser settings are configured to retain form history).

2. Cookies and Web Beacons

Like any other website, we use ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimise the users’ experience by customising our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

3. Affiliate Links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one, the destination website or its affiliate network may set a cookie identifying us as the source of your visit, so that we can be credited if you go on to open an account or buy a product. This never affects the price or terms you receive.

These cookies are set by the destination site or the network, not by us. We do not receive your name, contact details, or any financial information as a result of you following an affiliate link. 4. Third-Party Analytics and Tracking

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies will not stop any of the calculators on this site from working, because they do not rely on them.

We follow a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, and referring/exit pages. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, and gathering demographic information.

6. GDPR Rights (UK & EU Users)

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. However, since we do not store your personal financial data on our servers, there is usually no data for us to provide or delete regarding your calculator usage.
